Mini Munch-able Burger by Tashi

This was Tashi's idea and the name is also hers. This can be easily done on a weeknight. If you can manage pick up at 5 pm, you will be eating by 7.  Shopping time at #Kroger = 1 hour. Prep and cooking time = 1 hour. 
Ingredients and Prep: 
1 lb ground beef (97% lean)
Tomato (1 large beefsteak selected by Tashi)
1 medium white (1/2 onion chopped and 1/2 sliced and soaked in salt water to be used for the burger)
1 egg beaten
Cheddar cheese
Brioche Bun (pack of 4) from #Kroger
Avacado slices (optional)
Kosher salt
Fresh ground pepper

Lets Start Cooking:
1) Mix together the beef, onion, egg, salt and pepper
2) Make into 6 patties
3) Ideally grill the patties for 5 minutes on each side. Sprinkle salt and pepper on just the one uncooked side. We used a heavy bottom pan on the gas stove on medium-high instead of the grill tonight.

Lets Eat: 

Build the layers: Bun, Mayonnaise, Burger, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato (sprinkle of salt and pepper), Avocado. ENJOY! It was truly delicious. The burgers were a bit overdone but delicious due to the fresh ingredients. Perhaps reducing the time or making 4 patties instead of 6 might be a good idea too.
