Air Fryer Okra with Ajwain

Kurkuri Bhindi: Indian Crispy Okra 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 to 3 handfulls Okra
  • Dry mix:
    • 1 tsp Turmeric
    • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (or use Red Chilli Powder)
    • 3/4 tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp Ajwain (Carom) seed (Good for digestion)
    • 2 tsp Rice flour
    • 2 tsp Whole wheat flour or Graham flour
    • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 2 tsp water
  • 2 tsp canola oil
1. Cut off the top of Okra and slice lengthwise into 4 if big or just half in smaller okra
2. In another bowl make the dry mix and add oil and water. Mix till pasty.
3. Add the mix to the okra and coat
4) Air fry at 375F for 10 mins or until ready
5) Serve with other half of lemon cut into wedges
